This item will allow you to download any U.S economic series from the FRED (Federal reserve bank of St. Louis) website.
The downloader is quite easy to use. Once it is downloaded and installed in QuantShare, open it then select the "Ids" tab on the right. There you need to enter the economic series id followed by ":" and the ticker name to will hold the data.
You can find the id of each economic series by browsing the FRED website. As an example, if you visit the following page:
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/T10Y2Y
Which displays the "10-Year Treasury Constant Maturity Minus 2-Year Treasury Constant Maturity", you will find the id at the end of the url.
The id in this case is "T10Y2Y".
Enter that value followed by a colon then type a ticker name (usually starts with ^ to differenciate it from regular stock/etfs).
In this case you can type:
T10Y2Y:^10Yminus2Y
Here are some economic data series you can download from FRED:
Effective Federal Funds Rate (FEDFUNDS)
Civilian Unemployment Rate (UNRATE)
Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
Real Gross Domestic Product (A191RL1Q225SBEA)
10-Year Treasury Constant Maturity Rate (DGS10)
S&P/Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index (CSUSHPISA)
M2 Money Stock (M2)
All Employees: Total Nonfarm Payrolls (PAYEMS)
10-Year Breakeven Inflation Rate (T10YIE)
Trading financial instruments, including foreign exchange on margin, carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in financial instruments or foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
